Basis of the combination coatings from Gutbrod is an abrasion-resistant, thermally sprayed hard base layer of metallic material. A special flame spraying process melts and applies with atomizing gas on the component.

With the thus obtained sub-layer, a mechanically stable matrix is ​​created in which the fluoropolymers, such as PTFE, FEP and PFA, are embedded in order to achieve perfect non-stick properties and abrasion resistance. These combinations are possible with all of our coating systems .

The result is a wear-optimized combination coating that covers with perfect non-stick properties and excellent surface hardness of a broad spectrum of industrial requirements and applications.
